Promotion of the territory

“The project to network the city’s various cultural realities has been planned for some time and is finally coming into effect,” emphasizes Terni Maurizio Cecconelli, the cultural councilor of the municipality. “It is an event of great importance, not only because of its practical aspects, but also its importance: for people to understand the enormous potential of our territory, which is able to offer natural beauty, art, history, technology, all within a few kilometers. Creating synergies between different cultural poles allows to have and convey a more direct vision of this potential, thus becoming an important tool for promoting the area ». According to Chiara Ronchini, coordinator of the Caos Museum, “the cultural offer that these places can offer is very rich. Finding a synthesis and connecting all of these realities is an important step. Our natural beauty and historical sites are combined with modern and digital culture
with the common goal of maximizing the strength of the territory ”.

Services and information

“The launch of the combined ticket – emphasizes Francesco Fioretti of the Hydra Museum – with the entrance to the waterfall is an excellent opportunity for the museum to integrate the tourist offer and promote the museum’s activities accordingly: finally, there is an opportunity for visitors to the waterfall to take advantage of important services and information regarding their stay in area, and the museum can propose itself as intended, i.e. as a digital and physical gateway to the territory, offering the services of an information desk, a ticket office, a bookstore with publications on the area and the theme of the exhibition, and innovative merchandising products. It is hoped that the combined ticket will create further synergies with the territory and its cultural excellence in order to extend the offer to tourism and to integrate educational activities for schools ».

Tourist region

For Silvia Casciarri of the Carsulae archaeological site, “being able to put the area in a track to enrich the territory with tickets integrated with other significant cultural realities is an important commitment that the museum’s regional management is making with the municipality of Terni through a process already started with an extension agreement. The implementation of the integrated ticket is a demonstration of the joint commitment to the improvement and promotion of the territory, the synergy of creating routes aimed at learning about the important historical, archaeological and landscape heritage, and a useful tool for increasing and supplementing the cultural offer, with undoubted advantages for the tourist region; these are important goals that the region’s management intends to support with these and future agreements, believing that cooperation can lead to an ever greater awareness of the beauty of heritage ”. Finally, Manila Cruciani from Amodì Educational Services explains that “the social cooperative deals with the reception and educational activities as well as the cultural and tourist promotion of the Hydra museum. It also works with the managers of the Caos cultural center and with the regional management of the Umbrian museums for the Carsulae archaeological area through educational courses on cultural and environmental heritage and inclusive key routes. Amodà’s goals and objectives are in line with the planning underlying the creation of a broad museum that interprets and reinterprets our territorial identity in a contemporary key and makes us builders and builders of relationships and contamination, socially, inclusive and economically fruitful. “
